Writing and Film

2007:

Currently working on new project to break into mainstream media.

2006:

Helped to establish, in collaboration with other artists the
OCD-Collective to raise awareness of OCD.


2005:

Completed final draft of two theatre plays and three short film scripts.


2004:

Completed the final draft of first stage play with view to stage production.


2003:

Completed several independent films that were previously in post production stages, learned digital video editing skills in doing so.


2002:

Completed final drafts of fifteen short film scripts and two theatre plays.


2001:

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"Great Inspirations in Music".

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"Cold Dry Turkey Toast".

Produced, Directed and Starred in music video.
"Ndear".



2000:

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"7 Years Unpaid".Screened at DCA Cinema and Foundation Nightclub.




1999:

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"Monday to Friday".

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"2000&i" / "Film within a Film".  Screened at arts co-operative event.


1998:

Writer of Stage-Play :"The New Play" Winner of Scottish Youth Theatre's Young Playwrights Competition. Worked closely with Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow on the stage production, later staged at the Old Atheneum Theatre, Glasgow.


1997:

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"Doleferatu".  Screened at Generator film night and arts co-operative event.

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"One Minute".


1996:

Wrote, Produced, Directed independent short film drama.
"Another Man, Another Pawn, Another Lunatic" .

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy drama.
"The Carpet Junkie". Screened in 1998 at arts co-operative event.

Wrote, Produced, Directed and Starred in independent short film comedy.
"The Passing of a Day".

Setup community centre project teaching film production and animation to children at Grey Lodge Community Centre.

Participated in Royal Court Theatre, London workshop, gained usefull playwriting knowledge and skills.

Worked on co-written play with Dundee community rep drama department, was performed at Dundee Rep Theatre.

Participated in writing and directing workshops run by Dundee Rep Theatre, gained useful knowledge in the context of theatre writing and directing.


1995:

Writer of Stage-Play :"The Trouble With Mr. Charlie" Winner of Scottish Youth Theatre's Young Playwrights Competition. Worked closely with Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow on the stage production, later staged at the Old Atheneum Theatre, Glasgow.



1994:

Started seriously writing and submitting works to various outlets, including TV and film production companies, received very useful and helpful feedback from lots of different sources and gained lots of experience and constructive criticism.


1993:

Wrote, Animated, Produced and Directed independent short film animation.
"Stare Eyes". Screened 1998 at arts co-operative film event.

Started writing, wrote first script “Another Man, Another Pawn, Another Lunatic” which was later independently produced.
