About Gavin
Since
leaving school at the age of 14,
due to excessive bullying, I have built
on the vision that destructive feeling can be changed
into creative communication.
I
have recently discovered that I have been for a long time suffering
from obsessive compulsive disorder, I have resolved that this will not
halt my creative vision and I am currently involved with the early
stages of an artsitic project that will help sufferers of ocd to unite
together and join forces to help turn there destructive feeling into
that creative.
My writing
and filmmaking
is what keeps me going and
makes me myself, it has always been the one area I have had the most
faith in, I
am
determined, highly motivated and
heavily
focused.
I enjoy
working with people in a creative environment, and I believe that
people should
co-operate and work together.
The writers
and
filmmakers I consider myself to be most influenced by are Harold
Pinter, George
Orwell, John Steinbeck, Alfred
Hitchcock, Frank Capra, Fritz Lang, Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles and
Woody Allen.
My three favourite films of all time are:
"Its
a Wonderful Life", "Metropolis"
and "Citizen
Kane".
